Very bizarre decision to penalize Tim for going to his back when he was clearly in the process of attacking before doing it, and it sure didn't look like a guard pull. Tim had pretty much all the attempted offense in this match, and it sucks that he couldn't get the nod here, very exciting competitor to watch.
Maybe ADCC should use the olympic judo rule for penalties: 3(or4) penalties and you lose the match, but penalties don’t prevent overtime and aren’t considered negative points.
