  1. We still need companies that make other consumer goods though. Anyways, I don't know if weed or cannabis has any negative effects on the body, but if it doesn't and legislators and people vote to make it legal in more places, hopefully those business people or the people who make it, make it available for everyone who needs it.

  2. This is genius 😍

although i would argue being organic or gmo isnt really helping the planet. Arguably gmos are better for the envirement because of the genetic benifits to deter bugs with no pesticides, grow bigger and faster yields. The only time GMOs are bad are when large companies prefer to grow the plants with more natural sugars and other non essential genes to make it more addicting rather than healthier. Better regulation of GMOs is far better than organic products becuase no real crop is actually organic nor do they take up less land than GMOs. GMOs can be grown either indoors and outdoors depending on genes involved and can be modified to be healthier than organic plants for humans if given to the right people. Local businesses who implement GMOs are still the better alternative than organic foods that take up more land. (Sorry if i repeat stuff my phone kept copy and pasting stuff)

  3. You wanna know why it was illegalized, look up William Randolph Hurst(i think that was his name). He led a smear campaign against hemp because it threatened his investment in the timber industry.

  4. Hemp's many commercial uses, were a huge part of why marijuana was made illegal in the first place. Hemp had the potential to upset many of the American oligarchs' businesses. That's why Dupont helped push through the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937. Dupont feared that hemp could replace cellophane, as a cheaper, more natural alternative as fiber used for packing, along with many other commercial applications. The Rockefeller family also feared that ethanol from hemp could threaten their oil business. It's so disgusting. How some rich, greedy people got together in the 1930's, decided hemp and marijuana were a threat to them, and used their money and power to blackball the plant. And then, throughout history, dogmatic, narrow-minded American legislators and citizens have helped uphold this absurd ban, which shouldn't have happened in the first place. At least some states have legalized it, but we still have a long way to go as a country. It's really starting to feel like the majority of the issues in America have been caused by greedy rich people and corporations. It sucks.

  5. Big Pharma, Lumber, and several other companies don't want hemp. It'll put certain drugs, wood, and cotton out of business. Before America became and independent country George Washington was growing weed. They demonized it cause they didn't want minorities to gain wealth. If you can farm cannabis like a major crop blacks and other minorities that own farms will become wealthy.

  6. It's disgusting that there are black & brown people in prison (some, for the rest of their lives) because of the marijuana plant….when the white men who outlawed it in the first place are now expanding into businesses that PROFIT massively from it!! If it is legal in PART of a country….WHY is it not legal in ALL of the country?? It makes no sense!!

  7. There’s a hemp farm about fifteen minutes from where I live here in Canada, they’ve been making backpacks out of it and whatnot. I think it’s awesome!
