Cops got me when i was 17 at a local park… buddy had some other stuff on him so he was put in the back seat! Officers told us to get n our car and follow then to where we lived. So we did, followed them through the whole town to the house and left to parents! It was scary and awesome at the same time!

This depends on so many things, that it's incorrect to say conclusively you're driving worse when high. I'm not saying you should do it, all I'm saying is it depends on the person, strain and amount of weed. Weed is not a chemical, it's a plant with different amounts of mind-altering chemicals which in some cases improve concentration, hand-eye coordination and awareness. I'm speaking from experience, when I was a bartender I always worked faster, and more efficiently when I got high on some good sativa 😉
the issue with testing for high driving is there is a major difference between people that rarely or never smoke, and get baked off of one hit, and people that smoke every day and can smoke an entire joint themselves and be less high than the other persons one hit.
Yes I blew .000. then I gave them a ua. Weeks later it came dirty with weed and I got a DUI. 10 plus years ago. Last week I was pulled over for driving fast. I just got a new Focus ST. Driving stupid yes not driving impaired . I failed the field sobriety test and then was put under arrest I blew 000 and gave them a ua. Well I'm getting lawyer. I have to fight it my Job depends on driving.
Driving high is no more of a gray area than driving intoxicated. Both effect your decision-making and reaction time, both put other drivers on the road at risk.
I remember being 16 and smoking enough to be absolutely ripped, then getting the call to come home. I was at a friends house only a quarter mile from home, down side streets, that I had traveled probably ten thousand times at that point. The moment I pulled onto the street I was as lost as a freshman the first day of highschool! It took me what seemed like forever to get home, at what was probably 5 mph, but somehow I made it. When I woke up the next day, it scared the hell outta me that I actually did that. On the plus side, that experience has kept me from drinking or smoking with in a day of driving for the past 20yrs
