I don't know about this one honestly, don't get me wrong I used to smoke weed on a daily basis, but for some people like me it will ruin your life.
It's the number one cause for depersonalization/derealization disorder, basically I live with a very loose grasp on reality, I feel like I'm in a dream every waking moment, and it's horrible. I can't really cry, I don't feel emotions very strongly, I'm very blank, even when I want to have strong emotions.
I used to enjoy life, and at least for a while weed helped me enjoy it more, but it eventually took all of that away from me.
You can't know if you're going to get it, it just happens, and weed triggers it. If you're lucky it only lasts for a few hours or days, I've been dealing with it for almost a year now. I can't do school, I can't do my hobbies like programming, anything that involves really thinking. I only know things are wrong or right because I learned those things before, now I can only remind myself, but I can't really think why some things are wrong.
It shouldn't be legal because if everyone started doing it, more people would end up like me, or worse because it can also trigger schizophrenia. Weed isn't the harmless drug everyone thought it was in the 60's and 70's, enough research has been done at this point that we now know it can trigger serious mental illnesses that will rip away life as you know it.
I think the government should legalize marijuana to adults only. That would decrease the governments debt ratio considerably. I think after 3 years , the county ,local and federal government will recoup all the money the spent on the virus easily. Look at Colorado 's income received since their decision and times that by 50. And you need rules. No smoking in public. If you smoke while driving Loss of license 3 months and 1k fine. Marijuana has to be stored in car trunk
If driving somewhere, 300 fine if not. No one under 21 allowed to have it unless they have a medical exemption card carried at all times.i think you will have a drop in opioid users 35 percent first year and continue to decline .And those policies would ad some more money but can't make an accurate amount specified.
