I was a die cutting operator across the US and the max tonnage on 2 of the presses I ran was 500 tons psi ( Yes tons per square inch) ….For very detailed emboss/deboss across a carton eg video game Diablo. Making a channel that leads to a cavity in the cast would be optimal in hypothesis .
What are the "CONS" when using over spec. Tonnage ? I would hypothesise that the outcome for more TSI would be more fortuitous in the end result? Just trying to grasp the concept of relevance of different pressure?
